I am a librarian, web developer and writer living in Kansas City, Missouri. My current place of employment is the illustrious Johnson County Library where among other Web duties, I manage the JoCoHistory project, a collaborative local history resource and photo repository. In a nutshell I manage digitization projects and help design and deliver library services via the Web. I completed degrees at Oberlin College and the University of Michigan School of Information and took a few graduate history courses at University of Missouri-Kansas City. In the last few years I have presented for the Society of American Archivists, The Association of Midwest Museums, Kansas City Area Archivists, Northeast Kansas Library System and Kansas Museums Association.
Also I have been writing the popular local blog Kansas City Lunch Spots since January 2007 and have contributed food and drink articles to KCFreePress, KCTV5.com, PresentMagazine and the Employee Lounge. The blog has been featured in the Kansas City Star and Live From Jasper's Kitchen on radio.
No one ever confuses me with NASA astrophysicist and Hubble telescope authority Dr. David S. Leckrone.
